And this is what I have to say.

They did give you the truth. And the truth hurts 95% of the time. While bands like Jane’s Addiction NIN RHCP and countless of old, dead musicians are grabbing younger audiences Pearl Jam and they’re self loathing are losing an audience that is being born today. And it’s their fault, they don’t have a hook. The music is GREAT, there is no doubt, but they can’t survive playing to us only for the rest of their lives and ours. Their fans will all be dead soon. Lucky them, at least they got fans. Are you going to a James concert anytime soon? Hell they gave up fighting Ticketmaster a long time ago I think… I mean aren’t they selling their tickets now??? Sleeping in cars and parking lots??? Are you going to do that now… And if you are, are the people you’re sitting next to going to do that??? And they do have general admission ticket shows, they’re secret. Being different has got them nowhere and left them behnd and sometimes you have to fight the battles that matter. They chose the wrong enemies and paid for it. But they’re RICH and they still try calling out Rich people. That’s what bugs me. And what about Backspacer??? Is it really a wow album? I mean step outside of the pearl jam loving bubble and ask yourself if you were going to turn somone on to them would you give then that album? Does it hold a candle to KOL Or BHIC/R7? And really how important is it??? Don’t ever forget Pearl Jam didn’t make us we made Pearl Jam.
